Marguerite and the Pope John-Paul II

***************************

On December 12th 1979, during the general audience, Marguerite, accompanied by two priests, offered a volume of the message to the Pope John-Paul II.

Surprised and pleased, the Pope spontaneously said: “I know it, I know it…” Reading the parchment asking the benediction on the apostolate of the Legion, he added in French: “It is good, very good!”

Copy of the parchment where the Holy Father gives his Apostolic Benediction on the Legion of Little Souls, to Marguerite, the foundress, and to the leaders, on May 1th,1991, document he signed with his own hand, a very rare thing, a task usually left to an assessor of the Roman Curia. Monsignor Van Lierde, then General Vicar of the Vatican, who had spontaneously presented the document to the Holy Father, said to Marguerite that the Legion received thereof an invaluable grace.

Marguerite went back on July 2nd 1998, accompanied by her spiritual father, to offer to the Holy Father the fourth volume of the message.

Marguerite died on March 14th 2005,
three weeks before the Pope John-Paul II,
     on April 2nd 2005.
