I was barely six weeks old when the first world war broke out…
So began the little biography of a woman of the working suburb of Liège. She was born on June 21st 1914 and she got married at the age of 19. Three children came to enjoy the home life… she writes: “ In those days, my life as a Christian was almost nihil. I hardly thought about God, except on rare occasions”. My mother became seriously ill, the doctors gave no hope of her recovery.

Marguerite went on a pilgrimage to a small Marian Shrine to ask for the recovery of her mother “at least for four or five years”. Her mother came back to life.
(she lived to be 93!)

A mystical experience of encounter with God begins then and Marguerite asked the assistance of a priest…

She narrates the progress of thought and eventually writes her journal which became the “Message of Merciful Love to Little Souls”.
